Thanks to a collaboration with KILO, KRCC, COPPeR,  the Gazette, Independent Records and the Pikes Peak Center , the Showcase at Studio Bee will feature some of the best in local musical talent, including artists featured in COPPeR’s Sounds of the Pikes Peak Region - a 13-track CD showcasing an eclectic mix of original songs by local artists. To order a copy of Sounds of the Pikes Peak Region, or for more information about the album, click here. All artists included in the Showcase are homegrown talent from El Paso and Teller counties, (Pueblo Co. will be included in the next round)and have produced an album and write their own music.


All Showcase at Studio Bee performances start at 6:00 PM (doors open at 5:30 PM) and are free and open to the public. Concessions and a cash bar will be available. The Showcase at Studio Bee takes place inside Studio Bee, located on the north end of the Pikes Peak Center at 190 S. Cascade in Colorado Springs. Please enter through the entrance marked "Studio Bee."

Selection is now open for the next round of the Showcase at Studio Bee. To be considered, please complete the following:

Guidelines for selection of Studio Bee Showcase Artist:
•    Musician’s must perform original music.  The music must be wholly original (no covers). Classical musicians do not need to perform original music, though they
•    Musicians must be a resident and active in the “music communities” of El Paso, Pueblo and Teller Counties for at least 12 months.
•    Submitted recordings must be of radio quality.
•    Musicians must have an online presence or be willing to institute a website, My Space or Peak Radar profile.
•    Submitted tracks must be free of any obscenities.
•    Music must appeal to a broad base of musical tastes.

To apply, submit a CD with the following information:
•    Name of Band
•    Band contact
•    Address
•    Phone/cell number
•    Email address
•    Past history of where your band has performed
