The True Story of the Three Little Pigs

This play begins where the book leaves off.  Alexander T. Wolf is on trial for mischief that befell the three little pigs. Fast-talking reporter pig, Lillian, claims nobody has heard the Wolf's story, and she is hungry for the truth. The Honorable Prudence Pig, a tough judge with a weakness for musical theater, presides over the case. A smooth-talking lawyer pig, Julia, is the prosecuting attorney that always gets her way.  Al is a soulful charmer with a love of cooking and art. He defends himself, but it looks as though the piggy world is against him.  GUILTY or NOT GUILTY? When all the witness statements are in, the audience becomes the jury and determines Al's fate! What really happened? YOU decide!

Presented by Dallas Children’s Theater, a company Time Magazine recognizes as one of the top 5 children's theater companies and designated an American Masterpiece Touring Artist by the National Endowment for the Arts.

Ugly Duckling

Adapted from the fabled 1843 tale by Hans Christian Andersen, The Ugly Duckling tells of a homely little bird born deaf in a barnyard who suffers abuse from his neighbors until, much to his delight (and to the surprise of others), he matures into a beautiful swan, the most beautiful bird of all. Skillfully signed with American Sign Language, our story introduces our central character as deaf and explores the additional challenges he faces in a world filled with animals who can hear.

Featuring the brilliant talent of Sign Stage on Tour, this family production is signed and spoken simultaneously.
