A perfect setting for meetings, receptions, intimate drama & music presentations, and dance classes and other activities. Studio Bee also functions as a rehearsal space for the Center's resident Philharmonic groups. Studio Bees wooden performance floor, theatrical lighting system and acoustic control drapes provide the flexibility necessary to host a variety of events. A separate lobby and soundproof design permit Studio activities to be held simultaneously with events in the Great Hall. Room Size - Capacity - Studio Bee: Beatrice "Bee" Vradenburg (shown here) was larger than life, an endlessly optimistic visionary who shaped and guided the Colorado Springs cultural scene for more than four decades. In addition to her 37-year commitment as manager of the Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra, Bee gave her time and passion toward nurturing numerous performing arts institutions. She took on mammoth projects, such as raising money to build the Pikes Peak Center. Her legacy lives on through the Bee Vradenburg Foundation, which fosters excellence, innovation and collaboration within the arts community. |
