Studio Bee: Beatrice "Bee" Vradenburg (shown here) was larger than life, an endlessly optimistic visionary who shaped and guided the Colorado Springs cultural scene for more than four decades. In addition to her 37-year commitment as manager of the Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra, Bee gave her time and passion toward nurturing numerous performing arts institutions. She took on mammoth projects, such as raising money to build the Pikes Peak Center. Her legacy lives on through the Bee Vradenburg Foundation, which fosters excellence, innovation and collaboration within the arts community.
