Meeting and banquet spaces

The Pikes Peak Center is located in downtown Colorado Springs at 190 South Cascade Avenue.  It is strategically situated one hour from Denver and 45 miles away from Pueblo, CO.  It is easily accessible by Interstate 25 and Highway 24.  This spacious and elegant facility offers a variety of venue options and a newly remodeled interior.  The Pikes Peak Center is professionally managed by the Colorado Springs World Arena.

American National Bank Club Room
The American National Bank Club Room (ANBC Room) is adjacent to the Mezzanine Lobby.  This Club Room is perfect for small meetings, receptions, and private dinners.  Beautiful glass doors are at the entrance with the recessed lighting and modern style furnishings throughout the room add to the unique feel of this upscale experience.

Studio Bee
Studio Bee has been recently renovated into a 50’x68’ “black box” theatre.  The space is surrounded by black velour curtains, with options including a moveable lighting grid, a 40’x16’ stage, and risers to accommodate elevated seating.  Studio Bee has a full theatrical lighting and sound system and it is a perfect setting for meetings, receptions, and intimate drama, music, and dance performances.  Studio Bee features a beautiful, refinished wooden floor and a separate entrance, lobby, and restrooms from the Great Hall.  A soundproof design permits Studio Bee activities to be held simultaneously with events in the Great Hall.  This Studio is a perfect setting for meetings, receptions, intimate drama, music presentations, and dance classes.

Great Hall
The Great Hall is the main feature of the Pikes Peak Center.  With convenient access, the Great Hall is ideal for large seminars.  A very large stage is in front of comfortable movie-theatre style seats.  Throughout the Hall, there is excellent lighting paired with a sound system to project music and/or speaker’s voices.

Lobbies in the Pikes Peak Center
The lobbies are a fun, alternative way to have an event.  They are newly redesigned and located on both the main floor and the mezzanine level.  This open space provides a relaxed feel with the lighting and decor.  An elevator and stairs allow easy access to the mezzanine level.  The lobbies can be set up in any configuration to best suit your event.

Private Parties
Let the World Arena or the Pikes Peak Center be host to your next holiday party, company picnic, or group outing.  Excellent food and beverage packages are available for groups of 20 or more.  The World Arena can cater a meal for your group before and/or during an event at the World Arena.  Enjoy a full buffet meal as well as appetizers and cocktails.  Our full-time catering department can craft a menu to meet your tastes and budget.

World Arena Meeting and Party Spaces

The World Arena offers meeting space at our convenient location off I-25 just south of Circle Drive, only five minutes from the Downtown area.  The Penrose Club, Wigand Room, Arena Bar, Press Box, and the Peter Susemihl Room all offer your guests a unique style and atmosphere unlike any other.

The World Arena can host your private function in one of our meeting spaces on a non-event day or in conjunction with an event.  Centerplate, the World Arena’s exclusive catering service located at the World Arena, offers outstanding food and beverage with a responsive, solution-driven staff.  Our Executive Chef and his culinary team use only the freshest ingredients in presenting gourmet salads, tantalizing appetizers, entrees, and desserts.  Centerplate can design menus to match any theme requested.

The Penrose Club
Enjoy the prestige of hosting your function in Colorado Springs’ most luxurious and exclusive club where every event is a VIP experience.  Established in the tradition of the legendary Spencer Penrose, your guests will enjoy five-star service in a relaxing atmosphere.  The Penrose Club features a private bar, coat check, and easy access to the arena floor.

Wigand Room
Dazzle your guests with the unique view from the Wigand Room.  Located at the top of the World Arena, its walls of glass panels give a spectacular view of the entire arena, the city of Colorado Springs, and the Rocky Mountains.  The Wigand Room is perfect for corporate and/or social functions in conjunction with an event because it offers 108 seats adjacent to the room.  This room can also easily facilitate a classroom or theatre style set-up for business meetings.

Arena Bar
The Arena Bar is the perfect gathering place for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during a concert or sporting event.  The interior is a contemporary design with light oak and brushed steel accents.  The spacious outdoor patio provides additional space during warm weather.  Located near Gate A on the concourse level, the Arena Bar is available for private use in conjunction with Arena events or on non-event days.

Press Box

The Press Box is used exclusively for media during Colorado College hockey games and other media operations, but opens up during other events for small groups looking for a unique experience.  Functioning as a private suite, the Press Box accommodates more intimate gatherings and gives a great view.  There are two rows of seats with an open air feel looking into the Arena.

Peter Susemihl Room
The Peter Susemihl Room is named after one of the active Board Members here at the Arena.  His role was vital in helping move along the process to build the World Arena.  This room is located on the first floor as a comfortable meeting room.  The Peter Susemihl Room is square in shape to allow for a square or classroom style seating.
